Even the strongest relationships are strained during the transition to parenthood. Lack of sleep, never-ending housework, and new fiscal concerns can lead to profound stress and a decline in marital satisfaction — all of which affect baby’s care. Not surprisingly, 69% of new parents experience conflict, disappointment, and hurt feelings.
This research-based workshop prepares you and your partner for life with baby and helps you be the best parenting team possible. In a relaxed and supportive environment, you’ll learn to strengthen your relationship and foster baby’s development during this challenging time.
While in solidarity with other couples, think of this more as a “couples retreat,” where you are both focused solely on each other. This means you engage with your partner in all activities, to gain practice together with your new skills and tools. Time is provided for breakouts to do practice your newly learned skills.
Your investment of $480 per couple includes over 12 hours of instruction/coaching, refreshments, and materials, AND includes an optional (but strongly encouraged) follow-up a few weeks later to ask questions and share progress. At just $34/hour, that’s a huge savings compared to the cost of individual sessions. Additionally, a limited number of scholarships are available.
Space is limited to a small group size of only 8 couples to allow for plenty of individualized attention. Babies in arms are welcome!
